Introduction to Scandinavia (ISCAN)This website offers information about the course Introduction to Scandinavia (ISCAN).

ISCAN is a course offered each semester to international students who would like to learn more about Denmark in the context of Scandinavian history, culture and politics.

ISCAN lectures are held on Wednesday afternoons from 14.30-16.15 in a Lecture Room in Nyhavnsgade 14 (please see the lecture schedule). Use the website’s menu to find information about how to earn ECTS points and a registration form.

Funding for ISCAN is provided by the three Faculties of Aalborg University: The Faculty of Humanities, The Faculty of Social Sciences, and The Faculty of Engineering, Science and Medicine.

In collaboration with ICS a number of optional excursions and trips are offered to ISCAN-students. You are strongly advised to participate in the trips in order to learn more about Denmark.
